Activities at Good Shepherd’s Senior Independent Living Complex

In Good Shepherd Community’s senior independent living complex, residents have many opportunities to socialize by just opening their apartment doors. Our Activities Department makes it easy for residents throughout our community to engage with their neighbors in a variety of settings.  There are many activities to choose from like exercise class, lectures, movie matinees, games, or simply dining together.  All activities support the residents in their emotional, physical and spiritual health and foster an environment full of community fellowship.

There are puzzle and card tables as well as seating areas where residents can gather for friendly visits. Residents may also want to stroll down to Fisher’s Lake with a walking buddy or seat themselves on a bench with a lake or garden view. The Activities Department in our senior independent living complex plans events that range anywhere from sing-a-longs, book clubs, and group outings, to holiday parties and entertainment. Our activities department plans external outings as well like visits to local museums, shopping, or the ice cream shop. IN our senior independent living complex, residents have ample opportunities for chance encounters in the hall that lead to cups of coffee and conversations. Life is good at Good Shepherd Community.
