Residents have many opportunities to socialize by just opening their apartment doors, but Good Shepherd’s Activities Department makes it easy for residents throughout our community to engage with their neighbors in a variety of settings.  Whether it’s exercise class, lectures, movie matinees, games, or simply dining together – all activities support the residents in their emotional, physical and spiritual health and foster an environment full of community fellowship.

There are puzzle and card tables as well as seating areas where residents can gather for friendly visits. Residents may also want to stroll down to Fisher’s Lake with a walking buddy or seat themselves on a bench with a lake or garden view. The Activities Department plans events that range anywhere from sing-a-longs, book clubs, and group outings, to holiday parties and entertainment. Residents have ample opportunities for chance encounters in the hall that lead to cups of coffee and conversations.
