The Moore Building is home to 200 HUD-subsidized apartments for seniors. Fully accessible apartments are also available for persons with disabilities.
The Moore Building has all the amenities our residents need under one roof – a beauty/barber shop, library, computers, and a gym. Card-operated laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor and a delicious and nutritious noon meal is available six days a week. Cable TV and transportation are also available and residents can choose to receive physical therapy on-site without having to leave the building.
Good Shepherd has reserved an area with raised gardening beds for those residents who have a green thumb or want to try their hand at planting.
Applicants must be 62 or older (or younger if disabled by definition).
30% GROSS INCOME REQUIREMENTS:
Rent is 30% of the residents’ gross income when their income does not exceed the maximum allowable income amount as determined by HUD.
A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required and utilities are included.
