Good Shepherd Community’s independent seniors enjoy quiet maintenance-free living in a community atmosphere. We offer market rate and income-based housing options for independently living seniors age 62 and older, or age 55 at our Cottages.
From our cottage residences to traditional apartment living, Good Shepherd provides attractive, affordable and welcoming spaces in a variety of sizes and floor plans. Your privacy and sense of well-being are as important to us as they are to you, but our community makes it easy for you to meet friends and participate in the activities that interest you. Good Shepherd Community is in a park-like setting complete with easy boardwalk access to our Fisher’s Lake, however, we are conveniently located to nearby shopping, restaurants, and healthcare providers.
Affordable Housing
Moore Building
The Moore Building is home to 200 HUD-subsidized apartments. A delicious and nutritious breakfast and lunch are offered six days a week. There are card-operated laundries on each floor, convenient parking, a beauty salon, a library, a computer lab, and meeting areas to visit with friends.

Built in 2012, the Cottages of Good Shepherd are comprised of 104 charming apartments in a peaceful and private community. You’ll feel at home the moment you arrive.

Rhinehart Building
The Rhinehart Building was developed in 1983, and houses 55 apartments with scenic balcony views of the surrounding picturesque landscape. The building offers a delicious breakfast and lunch meal options, free washers and dryers on each floor, convenient parking and shares its amenities with the Moore Building.

Developed in 1986, The Cove’s 81 apartments include an increased level of service, including 2 meals per day, and weekly laundry and housekeeping services.

The Roberts at Good Shepherd Community offers studio units for residents age 62 and older. Rent includes two meals per day, utilities, cable TV, and transportation. Residents will enjoy life in a beautiful, wooded setting just minutes away from shopping and restaurants.
