The Moore Building offers affordable senior housing in Little Rock, featuring 200 HUD-subsidized apartments designed for comfortable, independent living.

The Moore Building has all the amenities our residents need under one roof – a beauty/barber shop, library, computers, and a gym.  Card-operated laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor and a delicious and nutritious breakfast and/or noon meal is available six days a week. Cable TV and transportation are also available and residents can choose to receive physical therapy on-site without having to leave the building.

Good Shepherd has reserved an area with raised gardening beds for those residents who have a green thumb or want to try their hand at planting.

30% GROSS INCOME REQUIREMENTS:

Our affordable senior housing in Little Rock ensures that rent is capped at 30% of a resident’s gross income, provided they meet HUD maximum allowable income limits

A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required and utilities are included.

One person gross yearly income maximum $32,450
Two persons gross yearly income maximum $37,100

• 1 Bedroom (400 sq. ft.)
• 2 Bedroom (700 sq. ft.)

Rent is determined at 30% of gross income and the security deposit equal to one month’s rent. Pet deposit is $200.

The Moore Building provides handicapped-accessible apartments specifically designed for individuals with mobility impairments. These units feature wider doorways, grab bars, and accessible bathroom layouts to ensure safety and independence.

While our primary residency is for those aged 62 and older, we also offer affordable senior housing in Little Rock for younger individuals who meet specific mobility disability criteria defined by HUD. Our goal is to provide a barrier-free environment where all residents can enjoy living with ease.
