If so, please review the responsibilities and requirements below for Good Shepherd Community’s Administrative Assistant position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Answer and transfer phone calls using a multi-line phone system and clerical duties (photocopying, faxing, emailing, mail sorting, etc. / Anticipate office supply needs and order accordingly / Provide general support to visitors and residents / Report maintenance work orders via computer / Monitor resident check-ins, emergency calls, and camera systems to ensure the well-being of our residents which often includes in-person follow-ups / Maintain computer and manual filing systems / Receive, sort, and distribute mail/deliveries / Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. / Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient / Coordinate repairs to office equipment.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

·Proven work experience as an administrative assistant, front office representative, or similar role. / Extreme proficiency in juggling a multi-line telephone with a great customer service / Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines, copiers, and printers) / Candidate should have proficient computer and typing skills and should be proficient with Microsoft Office suite. / This position involves sitting, however, follow-ups, deliveries, and other tasks require an ample amount of walking and involves the use of stairs.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· High school degree or equivalent.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. $16.00/hour
