Welcome to Good Shepherd Ecumenical Retirement Center.
With a commitment to quality and an innovative approach to senior services, Good Shepherd is making a difference and touching people's lives across Arkansas.  Since 1979, Good Shepherd has identified the health and social needs of seniors of all ethnic backgrounds within the community and has responded to those needs.
The delivery of professional and personal service at Good Shepherd resulted from years of experience and expertise that began with its development by four Christian denominations recognizing the need for affordable housing options for Arkansas' seniors.  Through the years Good Shepherd has grown from a single building with 200 apartments, to a four facility retirement community located on

165 acres in a park like setting in west Little Rock. We offer a variety of apartment configurations - studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and apartments that are accessible for persons with disabilities.

At Good Shepherd, we know how to make you feel at home.  Our retirement community is complete with organized recreational activities, social and educational programs, cultural and religions programs, an award-winning Wellness Program, a Transportation System for Residents, Beauty Salons and Gift Shops. Good Shepherd is committed to offering our Residents quality of life through a community atmosphere, attractive apartments and a healthy and independent lifestyle with all the comforts and conveniences of home - including good friends and neighbors.

You are never alone in this loving caring community. We guarantee your sense of privacy while still providing the services you want and need.  For questions to common questions, please click FAQ's.
